Wavecor drivers key components in getting well-known Indian manufacturer Eastern Electronics favourable review in AV Max magazine November 2007.
The new Norge 2000 bookshelf speaker from Indian manufacturer Eastern Electronics uses Wavecor drive units exclusively: The TW030WA01 30mm tweeter and the WF160WA01 6.25” mid/woofer.
A new review of this speaker has just been published by the Indian magazine AV Max including some of the comments listed below.
........”First the speakers: it is a two-way bass reflex system with a crossover frequency of 2kHz. There is 1” [Wavecor: Actually 30mm] silk dome tweeter and 6.5” woofer. The drivers are made up of dual neodymium magnets that ensure efficiency and optimal Thiele parameters (factors which define the overall performance of the speakers, like the volume of the cabinet, size of the drivers, etc), and simultaneously provide extremely good magnetic shielding.............”
.........”With the intention to see how this system would sound in a home-theatre set-up we hooked it up to our DVD player and put in ‘War Of The Worlds’. Its performance pumped life into the overall experience; it almost rained thunder and lightning. The low frequency rumbles of the blasts and the sharp and crisp lightning with the gunshots were effectively rendered. As we tried a number of CDs, the speakers were just getting better and better, CD after CD............”

Wavecor drivers again involved in a fabulous review for German high-ender Audio Physic: This time their Yara II Superior model, which uses midrange driver and subwoofers supplied by Wavecor.
The new Audio Physic Yara II Superior is powered by three Wavecor drive units. A custom built 5” mid/woofer and two custom built 7” subwoofers.
A new review of this speaker has just been published by the German magazine HomeVision with outstanding results.
........”When put to the test, the mids never sounded compressed and the full details came through, even at high levels.
The woofers are able to hold a candle to the midrange drivers. In fact, woofers with such a design and configuration cannot be bought at bargain prices,.

  Wavecor is a newly established company located in the Southern Guangdong province of China but with deep roots decades back in the Danish speaker industry.
